Israeli army orders 11 lakh people to leave Gaza

The Israeli military has told civilians in Gaza City to leave their homes, says military operations will take place in the area “in the following days”.

Earlier, UN said Israel wants more than one million people out of northern Gaza in the next 24 hours, raising fears that an Israeli ground operation is imminent. Hamas calls warning “fake propaganda,” reports Al Jazeera.

Hamas accuses Israel of carrying out a “genocide” in Gaza.

At least 1,537 Palestinians killed and 6,612 wounded in Israeli airstrikes on Gaza. The number of people killed in Israel has reached 1,300.
