Officials in Gaza said the enclave facing an imminent humanitarian catastrophe with the power plant shutting down completely within hours due to the depletion of fuel, reports Al Jazeera.

On the other hand, the death toll in Israel has climbed to 1,200 people.

The UN Secretary-General is “deeply distressed” by Israel’s complete siege of the Gaza Strip.
