Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) will take necessary legal action if banned organizations including Hizb-ut Tahrir hold any meetings, rallies and any other publicity, reports UNB.
The DMP issued the warning in a press release, said Talebur Rahman, Deputy Commissioner (Media) of DMP on Thursday.
On October 22, 2009, the government banned Hizb-ut-Tahrir considering that it is a threat to public security.
According to the Anti-Terrorism Act-2009, all activities including meetings, rallies, and processions, distribution of posters and leaflets and publicity through other means by any banned organisation are punishable offence, it said.
