BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir returned to his home on Thursday noon after recovering from ailments at a private hospital in the capital.

BNP media cell member Shairul Kabir Khan has confirmed that the senior leader is feeling healthy now. Fakhrul is also expected to join an Iftar party that BNP will host at a city hotel for diplomats.

On Sunday, Fakhrul suddenly fell ill and was admitted to a hospital.
