The Traffic Division of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has filed 1,408 cases against motor vehicles across the capital for violating traffic rules, reports BSS.
The DMP has filed those cases and realized the money on Monday through their regular drives against the traffic rule breakers, a DMP press release said on Tuesday.
A total of 150 vehicles were impounded and 45 others towed during the campaign, said Talebur Rahman, deputy commissioner (Media and Public Relations Division) of the DMP.
“The drives will continue to ensure discipline on the city streets,” the release added.
