A fire has broken out in the BRP slum in the Bhashantek area of the capital. Five units of the fire service rescue team have been working to bring the fire under control.
Fire service was informed of the incident on Thursday around 11 am. Five units rushed to the scene, said Lima Khanam, the duty officer at the Fire Service control room.
She stated that the cause of the fire is yet to be known. Additionally, there have been no reports of casualties or injuries so far.
