On the occasion of the 48th founding anniversary of Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir, the honoring ceremony for indomitable meritorious students 'Durbar 2025' was held. In this, indomitable meritorious (physically disabled) students of Dhaka University, Jahangirnagar University and Jagannath University were felicitated.
The program began at 3 pm on Thursday at the Battala of Dhaka University with the recitation of the Holy Quran.
Under the chairmanship of central president Zahidul Islam and moderated by secretary general Nurul Islam Saddam, Manarat International University VC Dr. Abdur Rob was present as the chief guest at the program.
Buet Professor Dr. Fakhrul Islam, National Doctors Forum president Dr. Nazrul Islam, former central president of Chhatra Shibir Dr. Shafiqul Islam Masud, Zahidur Rahman and engineer Sirajul Islam were present as special guests.
In his speech as the chief guest, Dr. Abdur Rob said, "The attitude towards disabled students in the country needs to change. These students are setting new examples in the society through their indomitable talent and hard work. Their success inspires all of us. I hope that such initiatives will continue in the future and all disabled students will be provided with equal opportunities so that they can reach their goals."
