Facilities for women to offer Jumma prayer at mosque in Bashundhara Block-N

Now women can perform the Jumma prayer on the first floor at Fakihul Millat Mufti Abdur Rahman (R) Jame Masjid located at Block-N in the capital’s Bashundhara Residential Area.

The authorities concerned have invited all women devotees to join the congregation.

This under-construction mosque financed by Bashundhara Group is the country’s largest Islamic infrastructure in terms of facilities and size. As many as 70,000 devotees will be able to offer prayers together in the 10-storey mosque being built on eight bighas of land.

Each floor of the mosque has an area of 50,000 square feet. There will be 45 prayer queues per floor, while 200 devotees can stand in each row. The mosque has various facilities, including escalators.
