Shapla Chattar Massacre: ICT issues warrant against Hasina, 9 others.

The International Crimes Tribunal has issued arrest warrants against 9 individuals, including Sheikh Hasina, spokesperson of the Ganajagaran Mancha Imran H Sarkar, and former IGP Benazir Ahmed.

The warrants have been issued in connection with the charges of massacre during the Hefazat-e-Islam rally on May 5, 2013, at Shapla Chattar in Motijheel, Dhaka.

The accused also include former Home Minister Mohiuddin Khan Alamgir, former IGP Hasan Mahmud Khandaker.

Apart from this, orders have been issued to show the arrest of former State Minister for Home Affairs Md Shamsul Haque Tuku, former IGP Shahidul Hoque, former army officer Ziaul Ahsan, and former police officer Molla Nazrul Islam, who are currently in prison in other cases.
