Bashundhara Group Chairman Ahmed Akbar Sobhan has expressed deep sorrow over the death of Apex Group Chairman Syed Manzur Elahi.
In a condolence message, Ahmed Akbar Sobhan prayed for the salvation of the departed soul and expressed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members.
He said, "Bashundhara Group and I express deep sorrow over the demise of Syed Manzur Elahi. His life and contributions will serve as a great source of inspiration for the new generation. I pray for the salvation of his departed soul."
Syed Manzur Elahi breathed his last at around 7:30 am on Wednesday while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Singapore.
