Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) forecasted on Wednesday that rain or thundershowers likely to occur at one or two places over Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions for the next 24 hours begins from this morning.
"Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions. Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country," said the forecast begins from 9am today, reports BSS.
Trough of low lies over the west Bengal and adjoining area. Seasonal low lies over the South Bay.
Day temperature may remain nearly unchanged and night temperature may rise by 1-2 degree Celsius over the country.
Country's maximum temperature on Tuesday was recorded 35.2 degree Celsius at Baghabari in Sirajganj district, Jashore district and Khepupara in Patuakhali district respectively and today's minimum temperature 17.0 degree Celsius was recorded at Tetulia upazila in Panchagarh district.
The sun sets at 06.06pm today and rises at 06.09am tomorrow in the capital.
