The iPhone 16 officially dropped on September 20, sending waves within the tech community across the UAE.
The phone has a variety of new features, ranging from Apple Intelligence — a groundbreaking AI system — to Visual Intelligence, which enhances the camera experience.
However, if the new phone does not meet your expectations, it may still be possible to get a full refund. Apple's return policy allows users to get their money back if products are returned within 14 days of purchase.
Returning Policy: Is there a catch?

The refund process can only take place in store or through call centre agents for purchases made in store. When it comes to online purchases, refunds can only be applied online or through call centre agents.
Here is a guide to returning your iPhone 16 in the UAE:
Purchases made in store
Users who purchased their phones in stores must visit the store or call the company's toll number on 8000 444 0396 between 10am and 7pm from Sundays to Thursdays. They cannot apply for a refund for the product online.
Then Apple Care agents will take on the request and the customers will have to provide their receipt, reasons for refund, and other information.
After receiving the product, a full refund will be made
However, customers must keep in mind some terms while the refunding process takes place:
Products can only be returned in the country of original purchase.
Apple provides softwares to help protect users from theft or loss. If these softwares are not disabled by the customer before returning the product, Apple may not take it back.
Purchases made online
If the customers buy the phone online, they can return it through Apple's 'Order Status' website.
Customers can also call the customer service if they want.
When applying for a refund, customers need to provide the following information:
Web Order number
Contact phone number
An address from where the goods can be collected.
When the application process is done, customers will receive an email that will contain the receipt which will have a Return Material Authorisation (RMA) number on it.
The phone must be dropped off at the chosen pickup point within five days of application.
How long does it take to complete the refund process?
The whole process takes 5-7 days.
It should be noted that any charge made by mobile service providers is the responsibility of the customer.
