The Ministry of Power, Energy, and Mineral Resources has announced that petroleum fuel prices will remain unchanged for the month of April.
Effective from April 1, the retail price of diesel and kerosene will stay at Tk105 per litre, while octane will continue to be priced at Tk126 and petrol at Tk122 per litre.
This decision follows a similar move in March, when the government also opted to keep fuel prices steady.
The government has maintained the current pricing structure to ensure a stable and affordable supply of fuel, in line with the automatic monthly adjustments based on fluctuations in global market prices.
