A head-on collision between two motorcycles killed two youths at Shaheb Bazar, adjacent road to Dhaka-Bhanga Expressway.
However, the identity of the deceased could not be identified immediately.
The incident took place at 1:30 pm on Tuesday, leaving two others seriously injured.
Local sources said that the injured were also died later, but there were no official confirmation.
Shibchar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Ratan Sheikh said that the area of the accident is under the jurisdiction of Jajira Police Station, adjacent to Shibchar.
However, he said that he has received the information of two riders’ death. He also said that they are running an investigation into the matter and the detailed information will be shared shortly upon receiving investigation data.
Eye witnesses said that two motorcycles traveling in opposite directions collided head-on on the road from the Naodoba roundabout of the expressway to the Shaheb Bazar area.
In the accident, two youth died on the spot while two others were seriously injured.
