The Meteorological Department has said that there may be storms and thunderstorms with a maximum speed of 60 kilometers per hour over the two divisions of the country.
This information was shared in the 6-hour forecast given for the country's inland river ports signed by Meteorologist Kh. Hafizur Rahman on Tuesday.
According to the forecast, gusty winds may blow temporarily from the west or northwest at a speed of 45 to 60 kilometers per hour over Mymensingh and Sylhet regions. Along with this, there may be rain or thundershowers. These areas have been asked to show warning signal number 1.
The forecast for the whole country on Tuesday says that the weather across the country may remain mainly dry with temporarily partly cloudy skies. However, there may be temporary gusty winds with lightning or rain or thundershowers in one or two places in Sylhet division.
