Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishtan (BKSP) has honoured five decades of sporting excellence by unveiling the names of 50 legendary athletes who have illuminated the nation’s sports arena with their achievements, reports the Daily Sun.
The special recognition ceremony, held on Wednesday at the institution’s Audio-Visual Centre, celebrated athletes from a wide range of disciplines—many of whom rose to prominence through BKSP’s iconic training system.
BKSP Director General Brigadier General Md Munirul Islam attended the event as the chief guest. Honourees were presented with commemorative crests and the institution’s traditional “uttorio.” A colourful rally followed, moving across different parts of the campus before concluding at the newly installed “BKSP Legends” memorial plaque, which was unveiled in the presence of all attendees.
