Hashan Tillakaratne quits as women’s team head coach

National women’s team head coach Hashan Tillakaratne decided not to continue after the tour of West Indies, Bangladesh Cricket Board officials said on Wednesday. 

Tillakaratne was appointed as the head coach of the national women’s team in October 2022 on a two-year contract and later it was extended till the recent tour of West Indies.

“During the tour of West Indies Tillakaratne informed us that he is not willing to continue anymore,” BCB official confirmed Daily Sun on Wednesday.
