Experienced cricketer Mahmudullah will not be part of the Bangladesh Cricket Board's (BCB) central contract. He has requested BCB not to include him in the central contract for any format, BCB sources informed.
Earlier, BCB had proposed a draft list of 22 players for the central contract.
The contract was supposed to be approved in BCB’s latest meeting, and Mahmudullah(39), was included in the list under the 'B' category.
However, as Mahmudullah has withdrawn his name, BCB will now announce the central contract list without him.
This means his central contract with BCB officially ended in February, and he will not be a centrally contracted player from March onward.
