There were doubts whether Durbar Rajshahi would play their first match in Chattogram against Sylhet Strikers on Friday due to their ongoing payment dilemma. They eventually took to field after the issue was somewhat solved and flexed their muscles against Sylhet at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium on the day.
Rajshahi bagged a massive 65-run victory against Sylhet to climb to fourth spot with three wins in their bag.
They showed a proper team effort on the day, first with bat as they scored 184/7 in their 20 overs thanks to Ryan Burl’s 41 and captain Anamul Haque’s 32.
Later spinner Sunzamul Islam stole the show with his three wickets along with Taskin Ahmed and Mrittunjoy Chowdhury’s brace to bundle Sylhet out for 119.
