Usually Mushfiqur Rahim stands behind the stumps as wicketkeeper for Fotune Barishal. But on Monday, top-order batter Najmul Hossain was seen wicketkeeping behind the stumps as Fortune Barishal won the toss and elected to field first against Sylhet Strikers at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium.

It was not the case of Mushfiqur Rahim being absent from the playing XI, the veteran wicketkeeper-batter is there, but Barishal opted to go with Najmul as the wicketkeeper for the match.

It is understood that Mushfiqur is not keeping tonight to avoid any risk since he just returned after a finger injury that he sustained during the Afghanistan ODIs in November.

Fortune Barishal are currently third on the BPL table after winning two of their three matches so far. Sylhet are yet to open their account.
