Only 24 hours remain before the start of the 11th season of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), yet fans and supporters are still in the dark about official ticket information.
Since Sunday morning, crowds have been gathering around the Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium. Some of them even staged a protest at the stadium’s main gate, expressing their frustration.
Adding to the chaos, there were reports of fans getting engaged in fights amid the confusion, further escalating tensions outside the stadium.
Reports indicate that Madhumati Bank has been entrusted with the responsibility of ticket sales. Tickets will be available at seven of their branches and at a booth near Gate 1 of the stadium.
However, fans have not been informed about the exact time the tickets will be available. According to BCB sources, ticket distribution is expected to start from 2 PM.
Madhumati Bank sources confirm that tickets will be sold at booths located in Mirpur, Uttara, Dhanmondi, Gulshan, and other areas. Bank officials will handle ticket distribution directly.
According to the ticket sales website, the prices are set at Tk200 for the Eastern Stand, Tk400 for the North and South Stands, TK800 for the Club House, TK1,500 for the VIP Stand, and TK2,500 for the Grand Stand.
