Left-arm spinner Taijul Islam claimed three wickets in the morning session on Day 2 of the second Test at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium on Wednesday, securing his 14th five-wicket haul in Test cricket.
Taijul broke a 116-run partnership by dismissing David Bedingham for 59, then removed centurion Tony de Zorzi (177) in the very next over.
He went on to trap Kyle Verreynne, the centurion from the first Test, for a duck via LBW.
South Africa reached 467/6 after the lunch.
Tony de Zorzi scored 177 runs off 269 balls and Tristan Stubbs smashed 106 runs from 198 balls.
