Pakistan bowled very tightly and according to right line and length which earned them a comfortable win of 6 wickets against Netherland in Group 2 match in super 12 of ICC Men’s T20 World Cup on Sunday.
In the match held at Perth in Australia, winning the toss, Netherland elected to bat first. They lost 3 wickets for just 26 runs in 8.3 overs. Collin Ackerman (27 off 27) and Scot Edwards (15 off 20) tried to take Netherland to a score where they will get something to bowl on.
However, the other Dutch batters except them couldn’t even go to double digit score and they just managed 91 for 9 in stipulated 20 overs.
In reply, despite having lost skipper Babar Azam in second over, Mohammad Rizwan and Fakhar Zaman settled the game for Pakistan in second wicket partnership as they scored 49 from 39 and 20 from 16 respectively.
They won the match with 43 balls to spare.
Shadab Khan of Pakistan was judged Player of the Match for taking 3 wickets for 22 runs.
