Housing and Public Works Adviser of the current interim government Adilur Rahman Khan warned that although fascism may seem to be over, our struggle is far from finished. He emphasized that the remnants of fascism still persist and must be removed completely, as fascism has a tendency to resurface if not dealt with. He called on the public to remain vigilant and cautious.
Speaking at the opening of the inter-university debate competition at Dhaka University’s TSC auditorium on Friday morning, Adviser Khan urged students to stay united and focused on their goals.
The adviser also mentioned that 11 commissions have been formed for reforms and stressed the importance of involving young students in these initiatives.
The event, organized by ActionAid and the Dhaka University Debating Society, carries the theme "Towards Bangladesh to Point Zero."
