Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Saturday predicted weather may remain dry over the country for the next 24 hours beginning from 9am.
"Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country," said the forecast, reports BSS.
A ridge of sub-continental high extends up to West Bengal and the adjoining western part of Bangladesh. A seasonal low lies over the South Bay, extending its trough to the North Bay.
Light to moderate fog may occur at places all over the country from late night to morning.
The night temperature may fall by one to two degrees Celsius over Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions and it may fall slightly elsewhere over the country. The day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
The country's maximum temperature on Friday was recorded at 31.3 degrees Celsius jointly at Cox's Bazar and Teknaf and on Saturday’s minimum temperature of 11.4 degrees Celsius was recorded at Sreemangal.
The sun will set at 05:35 pm on Saturday and will rise at 06:43 am on Sunday in Dhaka.
