Bashundhara Shuvosangho has held a discussion on cyberbullying at a college in Charfesson upazila of Bhola to make students aware of the social menace.
Shuvosangho’s Charfesson upazila unit organised the programme at Fatema Matin Mohila College on Thursday afternoon.
Cyberbullying is a type of bullying that involves using digital technologies to send, post, or share harmful, false, or hurtful content about someone online, often through social media or other internet platforms.
The event was chaired by Mohiuddin Bachchu, the Adviser of Shuvosangho's Charfesson unit and the acting principal of the educational institution. It was moderated by Kamrul Shikder, the Charfesson upazila correspondent for Kaler Kantho.
Zinnagor Union Parishad’s former chairman Kazi Monjur Hossain, Shuvosangho’s Charfesson unit President M Amir Hossain, Charfesson police station Sub-Inspector Nayeem, Fatema Motin Mohila Mahabidyalay Prof Nurul Huda Rumi spoke on the occasion.
Shuvosangho Adviser M Abu Siddique, Office Secretary Shafi Ullah, Organising Secretary Nahidul Islam Nayeem, Prof Faruk Rana, Lecturer Farhana Afroz, teachers’ representative Akter Hossain, Mostafizur Rahman, Mokbul Ahmed, Rajib Mojumder, Peter, Shafiqul Islam, and Asma Begum Tania were present among others.
