In a move to promote reading and literary culture, Bashundhara Shuvosangho has donated a collection of books to the popular Harun Tea Stall library in Gauripur, Mymensingh.
The books, written by renowned Bangladeshi author and Bashundhara Group Advisor Imdadul Haq Milan, include over a hundred titles.
Harun Mia expressed his gratitude, saying the books will play a transformative role in fostering reading habits among the local community.
The event was attended by notable personalities including Associate Professor and author Bishwajit Sarkar, his wife Rita Mandal, children’s author and Babu Publications editor Kader Babu, journalists Raich Uddin and Faruk Ahmed, poet Selim Al Raj, and the Vice Principal of Gauripur Islamabad Fazil Madrasa, Emdadul Haq Golam Mohammad GM, among others.
Harun Mia said, “Imdadul Haq Milan’s books are not just gateways to imagination but also reflect real-life experiences. His works make literature accessible and inspiring for the younger generation. This donation is more than just books—it is a source of living inspiration.”
