Khulna District unit Shuvosangho has organised a cleanliness awareness campaign across various areas of the city to highlight the importance of hygiene for personal, family and societal well-being.
On Sunday (16 November), the campaign covered Sultan Ahmed Road, the road behind Dolkhola Shitala Bari Temple, and Modern Furniture Road, targeting small businesses such as tea stalls and grocery shops.
As part of the initiative, more than ten shops received waste baskets to encourage shopkeepers to maintain cleanliness.
Shuvosangho members emphasised the significance of cleanliness to shopkeepers and local residents. Passersby and locals also stopped to observe the campaign, adding to its success.
Participants included district unit Shuvosangho members Sonot Gharami, ABM Abu Musa, Dipu Mondal, Sani Sheikh, Minhaj Uzzaman, Sami, Rudro Das, Joy Das, Mugdha Saha, Mohammad Najmul, Sourav Debnath, Dipon Mondal, Abu Raihan and Abdul Gani Sheikh.
District unit Shuvosangho president Bipul Roy Chowdhury coordinated the programme.
