Bashundhara Shuvosangho’s Khilgaon Thana unit has extended humanitarian assistance to a severely distressed family living in the Tilpapara area of Khilgaon in the capital.
Al Amin Gazi, a father of five, has been suffering from prolonged illness and is no longer able to work as a day labourer. His inability to earn a livelihood has left his family struggling to meet even the most basic needs, including food, healthcare, and daily expenses.
To ease their hardship, members of Bashundhara Shuvosangho handed over food supplies sufficient for 15 days to Al Amin’s family on Friday (7 November). Al Amin and his eldest daughter gratefully accepted the aid, expressing their heartfelt thanks to Bashundhara Shuvosangho and offering prayers for the well-being of the organisation.
The initiative was carried out under the guidance of Abdul Hannan Milton, Coordinator of Shuvosangho Dhaka Metropolitan South, and led by Khilgaon Thana unit President Md Ashiq and General Secretary Mainul.
Vice President Farzana Brishti, Organising Secretary Hedayet Ullah, Disaster and Relief Secretary Sihab, Sports Secretary Al Amin, Literary Secretary Russell, and other members of the organisation were also present at the event.
Since its inception, Bashundhara Shuvosangho has been dedicated to social development and humanitarian service across the country.
Organisers expressed hope that such initiatives would help foster compassion and strengthen humanitarian values in society while inspiring the youth towards positive and constructive action.
