A day of joy and learning unfolded at Naga Primary School, located near Gazipur Agricultural University, as students took part in a vibrant programme featuring educational material distribution and fun sports activities.
The event, organised on Monday by Bashundhara Shuvosangho’s Gazipur Agricultural University unit, was held with the full cooperation of the school’s teachers.
Students received various educational supplies, bringing smiles and excitement to their faces.
Alongside the distribution, a series of games and recreational contests — including running, “Jole Dangay” (Land and Water), and “Throw the Ball in the Basket” — were arranged for the children.
Lamiya, Ema, and Anannya won prizes in Jole Dangay, while Rabbi, Emon, and Ali were the winners in Throw the Ball in the Basket.
A dance and singing competition was also held in the classrooms, where five students participated enthusiastically.
Every participant was awarded, adding to the festive atmosphere. Members of Bashundhara Shuvosangho handed over prizes to the winners and distributed snacks and gifts to all students.
The school’s head teacher expressed heartfelt gratitude to Bashundhara Shuvosangho and Bashundhara Group, saying, “The smiles on our children’s faces are our greatest reward. Such initiatives will inspire future generations.”
Among those present were Shuvosangho President Prosanjit Roy, General Secretary Fahidul Hasan Himel, Joint General Secretaries Prithiraj Kongsha Banik and Tamanna Tasnim Johana, Organisational Secretary Nusrat Jahan Swarna, Office Secretary Suparna Chatterjee, Associate Treasurer Urmi Khatun, Sports Secretary Gaurab Roy Orko, Education and Curriculum Secretary Lamia Lam, and Publicity and Publication Secretary Shraboni Shrabon.
