Bashundhara Shuvosangho Chandpur district committee visited Puja mandaps on Wednesday night to exchange greetings, extend financial support, and engage in discussions on the occasion of Sharadiya Durga Utsab.
The committee, led by district president Lion Arman Chowdhury Robin, visited the Puranbazar Nobatara Nobapalli Puja Mandap, where mandap leaders including vice-president Rajon Saha, Suman Bordon, joint general secretary Vivian Ghosh, organisational secretary Uttam Ghosh, and assistant publicity secretary Dibash Ghosh welcomed them.
Lion Arman Chowdhury Robin said Bangladesh thrives on secular spirit and shared identity as Bangladeshis. “Though religious festivals differ, everyone joins in the celebrations. Such joyful unity is rare in the world. In the coming days, Hindus, Muslims and all other communities will continue to move the country forward together,” he said.
He also handed over financial support to the mandap committee leaders. Journalist Faruk Ahmed and organiser Vivian Ghosh delivered greetings, while other Shuvosangho members attended the programme.
