Bashundhara Shuvosangho organised an Information technology (IT) workshop at the premises of Dinajpur Government College on Thursday.
Rakib Sarker, an NSDA-certified trainer and assessor (IT), attended as the key resource person. He discussed the future of IT, the role of the National Skill Development Authority (NSDA), and the process of obtaining certification.
A session on digital marketing was conducted by CK Sanjoy, CEO of Orgatro IT and a digital marketer, who highlighted the future prospects, effective strategies, and applications of digital marketing.
Web development was covered by full-stack developer and open-source contributor Shibashree Roy. She shared insights on the potential of web development and presented several advanced projects she has worked on.
The workshop was presided over by Emdadul Haq Milon, adviser of Bashundhara Shuvosangho Dinajpur district unit and Dinajpur correspondent of Kaler Kantho. Non-tech instructor of Dinajpur Polytechnic Institute, Anwar Hossain, was present as a special guest.
Among others, the district unit’s joint general secretary Md Yasir Arafat Rafi, Sadar upazila unit president Md Astarul Alam, organising secretary Motiur Rahman, assistant organising secretary Chand Sharif, office secretary Milon Ahmed, and sports secretary Firoz attended.
From the Government College unit, vice-president Arup Kumar Roy, assistant organising secretary Rokonuzzaman Hridoy, and executive members Asadullah Asif, Zakir Hossain Rifat, Hrishikesh Roy, Aritri Roy, Tasmia Islam, Pawel Deb, Shahriar Islam, Protap Chandra Roy, and Brishti also took part in the workshop.
