Bashundhara Shuvosangho continues to lead humanitarian initiatives across the country, standing beside underprivileged communities through various social programmes.
As part of this effort, the organisation distributed essential food supplies at Maa Fatema Orphanage in Patiya, Chattogram.
Members of Shuvosangho’s Patiya upazila unit handed over rice, lentils, oil, potatoes, onions, and other daily necessities to the children, bringing smiles to their faces.
The volunteers said their goal is not only to provide financial or material support but also to instill responsibility, love, and compassion toward orphans and disadvantaged children.
They added that such activities will continue regularly in different areas to build a poverty-free and humane society.
Officials of the orphanage warmly welcomed the initiative, calling it a significant help for the children. They urged other institutions and organisations to follow the example to improve the lives of orphans and the underprivileged.
The children also expressed their happiness, saying Bashundhara Shuvosangho always stands by them during festivals and special occasions. They shared that the food support has brought relief to their daily lives.
Local people praised the initiative, noting that it touched the hearts of not only the orphans but also the wider community.
