A physically challenged student in Shibchar has received educational and food supplies from Bashundhara Shuvosangho, a social initiative of the Bashundhara Group.
On Thursday, members of the Shuvosangha Shibchar unit visited Mirzarkandi village in Banshkandi Union to offer support to Bayezid Bepari, 9.
Bayezid is currently a first-grade student at a local madrasa. Despite multiple treatments, his physical disability could not be cured. His family has been living with extreme financial hardship for years.
The donated items included notebooks, pens, rice, lentils, oil, sugar, semolina, flour, puffed rice, soap, potatoes, onions, and other daily essentials.
Shuvosangho Shibchar unit’s General Secretary S M Delowar Hossain, Organisational Secretary Didarul Islam Hridoy, Assistant Organisational Secretary Ishraqure Rahman, IT Secretary Arfin Mohammad Sajib, Social Welfare Secretary Parvez Mia, and members Rafiqul Islam and Md Sagar were present during the distribution.
Bayezid and his family expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Shuvosangho team.
“I’m truly very happy to receive these gifts,” said Bayezid. The family also requested concerned individuals to donate a wheelchair for Bayezid.
Local resident Russel Madbor said, "Shuvosangho members across the country are setting an example by standing beside the helpless and underprivileged. I’m happy to see Bayezid receive educational and food support today. My thanks to Shuvosangho."
SM Delowar Hossain, General Secretary of Bashundhara Shuvosangho’s Shibchar unit, stated, “Bayezid’s family has been living in hardship for a long time due to poverty. The food assistance we provided has brought them happiness. Shuvosangho remains committed to supporting the underprivileged and will continue working for the welfare of the disadvantaged in the future.”
