Bashundhara Shuvosangho has extended support to Ashutosh Bhowmik, an indomitable father of Kopilmuni union under Paikgachha upazila of Khulna, who has been struggling with severe Neuro disease.
His son Tanmoy Bhowmik took over the family’s tea shop in the union bazaar after Ashutosh suffered a stroke and became immobile. He has been struggling to bear his father's medical expenses while running the shop.
Ailing Ashutosh gets support for medication On Friday, members of Shuvosangho handed over one month's medicine and essential medical supplies for Ashutosh Bhowmik. Overwhelmed with emotion upon receiving the support, Tanmay expressed heartfelt gratitude for the timely assistance during this critical moment.
“Yesterday, my father's medicine ran out. I did not know what to buy today. If I don't take medicine for a day, my father's illness worsens. I can't imagine the pain. As a son, the pain of not being able to afford his medicine is indescribable,” he said.
Paikgachha Government School teacher Rabiul Islam Khan Raju and Lecturer Sameer Roy and Shuvosangho Khulna district unit President Bipul Roy Chowdhury were present on the occasion.
Shuvosangho upazila unit President Kartik Rudra, Health Affairs Secretary Nur Islam, Sports Secretary Abu Hossain Babu, Social Worker Sahadev Mandal and Rohit were present.
