Bashundhara Shuvosangho has organised a quiz competition at the International University of Business Agriculture and Technology (IUBAT) in the capital.
The event, held on the university's Uttara campus on Sunday, witnessed the participation of 122 students. The competition aimed to encourage knowledge acquisition and promote creative thinking among students.
IUBAT unit President Deepta Pal, General Secretary Md Nafiz Hasan, vice presidents Hridoy Pallab Das and Shakil Sikder, Assistant Organising Secretary Md Apu Hossain, Event Secretary Tarun Halder and Education Secretary Raihan were present on the occasion.
Hridoy Banik secured the first place in the competition, while Deepa Barai Akhi and Rawnak Jahan won second place jointly. Fahad Hossain Joy claimed the third place. Honorary awards and certificates will be presented to the winners.
"Such events play an important role in the development of knowledge and thinking of students. We hope that this trend will continue regularly," said Shuvosangho senior members Anamika Sarkar and Juhi Jannat Mim.
Expressing optimism, the organisers said that this initiative of Bashundhara Shuvosangho IUBAT unit will contribute significantly to building a positive attitude, competitive spirit and moral values among the students.
