Bashundhara Shuvosangho has extended a helping hand to micro-merchant Chitra Ranjan, who has been struggling to make ends meet with a makeshift shop in Taraganj of Rangpur.
Members of the platform visited Chitra Ranjan on Monday and handed over essential products to support his small business.
“I am a poor man. I spend the entire day at my shop and feed my family—my parents, wife, and children—with whatever little I earn from buying and selling. I can barely take care of myself,” said an emotional Chitra Ranjan after receiving the support.
“Bashundhara has stood by me—I pray for them,” he added.
Shuvosangho upazila unit advisers Harlal Roy, Sujan Babu, president Enamul Haque Dukhu, general secretary Dipankar Roy Dipu, organising secretary Rahmat Mondal, and members Asaduzzaman Khan Zaman, Bishwajit Roy, Palash Roy, Nur Alam Badal and Lalbabu Roy were present on the occasion.
