Bashundhara Shuvosangho has distributed fruit tree saplings to the Santal community and underprivileged residents in a tribal village of Thakurgaon.
Shuvosangho district unit president Tapas Deb Nath stated that all members of the organisation are deeply committed to social service.
"During winter, they distribute warm clothes to the poor and underprivileged, with the aim of nurturing a more creative and compassionate society," he said.
Shuvosangho remains dedicated to serving people through various humanitarian efforts and will continue this mission in the future.
Deepali Tigya, a tribal woman, shared that she planted and nurtured the fruit tree she received from Shuvosangho two years ago at her home.
"I will plant this fruit tree at home and care for it like my own child. One day, this mango and jackfruit tree will help meet my family's fruit needs," said Christina Lakra, another woman.
Shuvosangho district unit general secretary Rashedul Alam Liton, central cultural secretary Maliha Manjur Moumi, Mahfuza Fariha Marjan of Government Girls High School, Indigenous Peoples Council member Jesspina Khalko and Kaler Kantho correspondent Partha Sarathi Das were present on the occasion.
