After the hits “Priyotoma” and “Toofan,” Dhallywood actor Shakib Khan is set to release his next film, “Dorod.” He has also committed to another movie titled "Barbaad," with a budget of around Tk15 crores.
In an interview with Kolkata’s media Anandabazar Patrika, the actor recently spoke about his work and personal life.
About his upcoming film “Barbaad”, Shakib said, “The shooting of “Barbaad” will starts in Mumbai on October. It will be released on 2025. I hope that the film will break all the records of the past. In the meantime, I’m getting positive feedback.”
Is “Toofan 2” coming next year? Answering the question Shakib said, “I have spoken with the production house, there is no possibility. “Toofan 2” is not coming in 2025. Before that, another project could come with the same production house.”
Shakib also talked about his “Dorod” co-actor Sonal Chauhan. “Sonal was very cooperative during the shooting. What I most like about her, she is very dedicated to work. I hope the audience from both the Bengals will like our work.”
Talking about his personal life and marriage, the star shared, “Every heartbreak is painful. But life is a Journey. On this journey, you meet many people. Two persons (Apu Biswas and Shobnom Bubly) are past in my life, I have said this before. Let them remain in the past. I have no regrets about all this. What happened may have been for the best. I have two children, parents, sister and her family, some close people, my business, and billions of fans at home and abroad, who give me lots of love. I am very happy with all of them.”
“Nobody can’t live alone. They have to live with family and society. So let’s see! There is no rush to get married within a certain year. If something like that happens it will be arranged by family. As my parents are old, they want me to settle down,” he further added.
