The public administration ministry on Monday sent a letter to the home ministry seeking to prevent foreign travel of Tapashee Tabassum Urmi, the recently suspended assistant commissioner from Lalmonirhat.
On October 7, Urmi was suspended from her post over her social media posts against the July-August student-led mass uprising.
In one post she labelled the movement’s first martyr Abu Sayed as a terrorist, while in another, she warned the countdown to Chief Adviser Yunus’ fall had begun.
