In protest against the attacks by occupying Israel on Palestinians, a massive program titled "March for Gaza" was held in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. Millions of people took part in the event organized on Saturday.
The news of this protest by Bangladeshis was covered by various International media and news agencies including The US news agency AP(Associated Press). Citing AP, an influential Israeli media outlet “Times of Israel” also covered the news.
This Zionist media outlet highlighted the incident of protesters beating a photo of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in its headline. However, AP did not mention this in its headline.
AP titled its report: "Some 100,000 rally against Israel in Bangladesh’s capital." In contrast, The Times of Israel headlined: "Around 100,000 protest Gaza war in Bangladesh, beat images of Netanyahu, allies"
According to the report, thousands of protesters rallied in the capital of Bangladesh to condemn the attacks on Gaza. Nearly, 100000 people gathered in Suhrawardy Park in Dhaka University area. They carried hundreds of Palestinian flags and chanted slogans like “Free, Free Palestine.”
The report also stated that protesters were seen beating the pictures of Donald Trump, Benjamin Netanyahu, and Narendra Modi. During the rally, they also carried symbolic coffins and effigies representing injured and killed civilians.
Toward the end of the report, it was stated that Bangladesh is a Muslim-majority country with a population of 17 million. It has no diplomatic relationship with Israel.
The report also mentioned that Bangladesh had been supporting the concept of a free Palestinian state officially.
