Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecast a mix of weather conditions across the country for the next 24 hours, starting from 9:00 am today (April 24).
While some parts may see brief rain or thundershowers, most areas are expected to remain dry under continued heat wave conditions.
A trough of low pressure extending from West Bengal to the North Bay through southwestern Bangladesh is currently influencing weather patterns.

The highest rainfall recorded over the last 24 hours was 50 mm.
A mild to moderate heat wave remains in effect across Rajshahi and Khulna divisions, along with the districts of Manikganj, Tangail, Faridpur, Gopalganj, Dinajpur, and Nilphamari, and is expected to persist.
Day and night temperatures are likely to remain largely unchanged nationwide.
On Wednesday, the highest temperature in the country was recorded at 39.8°C in Jashore, Khulna.
The sun will set today at 6:24 pm and rise tomorrow at 5:29 am in the capital.
