The “2024 Korean Film Festival” will kick off with an inaugural ceremony and movie screenings at the Grand Auditorium of the Bangladesh National Museum in the capital on Friday.
The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Dhaka is hosting a two-day film festival featuring five Korean movies.The festival is free and open to all.
“My Sassy Girl” and “Extreme Job” will be screened on Friday at 04:00 pm and 6:30 pm respectively. While the films “All About My Wife”, “Classic” and “Miss Granny” will be shown on Saturday at 11:00am, 02:00 pm and 5:00 pm respectively.
The organiser stated that Bangladesh and Korea have many similarities in history, tradition, and culture. Based on similarities and strong diplomatic ties, cultural exchange between the two nations can be one of the means of strengthening cooperation. This festival is a testament to that. The cultural exchange between the two countries will be increased through special events.
