Partha Barua is a popular musician in the country. Apart from singing, Partha has made his mark as a talented actor as well. Recently he signed a contract to act in a new film, reports Daily Sun.
The film titled “Neel Jochna” is directed by “Bhuban Majhi”, “Gondi”, and “JK 1971-famed filmmaker Fakhrul Arefin Khan. Partha will take part in the shooting of the project this month. He will portray the character of Dr. Tarafder in it.
Regarding acting in the new movie, Partha Barua said, “My friendship with filmmaker Fakhrul Arefin is for a long time. I’m acting in Arefin’s movie for the first time because I like the story and character. Hope it will be good work.”
Fakhrul Arefin said, “Partha would be perfect for the character Dr. Tarafder. I contacted him and he agreed to act in the movie after listening to the story. He will be seen as a completely new avatar in the film.”
“Neel Jochna” will be Partha’s third movie. He made his big screen debut in 2016 with Amitabh Reza Chowdhury’s blockbuster “Aynabaji”. His role as a journalist made a great impression on the audience. Partha was then seen in the movie “Made in Chittagong” released in 2022.
On the other hand, Fakhrul Arefin earlier directed “Bhuban Majhi”, “Gondi”, and “JK 1971”. The government-grant movie “Neel Jochna”, based on Mushtaq Ahmed’s parapsychology novel “Neel Jochnar Jibon”, will be his 4th film.
