A total of 1, 45,911 candidates got GPA-5 (maximum grade point average) in the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations-2024 held under 11 education boards of the country, education ministry sources said, reports BSS.
This year, 77.78 percent students passed this year's Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations.
Tapan Kumar Sarker, the Chairman of the Dhaka Education Board and President of the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee, revealed this information at the Dhaka Education Board at Bakshi Bazar in the capital on Tuesday morning.
HSC and equivalent exams started on June 30. A number of 1,450,790 examinees appeared in the HSC and equivalent examinations this year. Of them, 10, 35,309 students have been successful.
