A total of 77.78 percent students passed this year's Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations.
Tapan Kumar Sarker, the Chairman of the Dhaka Education Board and President of the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee, revealed this information at the Dhaka Education Board at Bakshi Bazar in the capital on Tuesday morning.
HSC and equivalent exams started on June 30. 14 lakh 50 thousand 790 candidates took part in the exam.
According to the first published routine - after 8 days of examination, all examinations on July 18 were postponed due to the situation surrounding the quota reform movement. After that, the government suspended the examination in three phases.
Based on the marks obtained by the student in the SSC examination, the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee has prepared the result with the same marks in the HSC.
Moreover, if there is no match between the department and the subject, then the subject mapping principles have been followed.
