In the middle of Chaitra, there is a feeling of intense heat. In this situation, the Bangladesh Metrological Department (BMD) has forecasted thunderstorms with strong winds in Dhaka and other regions of the country for the next 3 days.
Meteorologist Shahinul Islam provided this information in the 72-hour weather forecast.
The weather forecast until 6 PM on Sunday predicted that rain or thunder showers with lightning flashes accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram & Sylhet divisions.Day temperature may remain nearly unchanged and night temperature may fall slightly over the country.
The weather forecast until 6 PM on Monday predicts that rain or thunder showers with lightning flashes accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram & Sylhet divisions.Day temperature may remain nearly unchanged and night temperature may fall slightly over the country.
In addition, until 6 PM on Tuesday , rain or thunder showers with lightning flashes accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Sylhet division. Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country
The Meteorological Department has also stated that the day and night temperatures across the country may rise gradually over the next 5 days.
The BMD recorded maximum temperature of today as 36 degrees Celsius at Rangamati while 17.5 degrees Celsius as minimum temperature of today at Rajarhat in Rangpur Division.
