The National Consensus Commission will hold discussions with political parties to create a national consensus on reforms starting from Thursday.
The information was conveyed in a press release sent by the National Consensus Commission on Tuesday.
The release said that the National Consensus Commission has set a schedule for discussions with the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) in the first phase at 3 pm on Thursday. The schedule for discussions with other parties will be announced in phases.
The release said that the National Consensus Commission has been formed under the chairmanship of Professor Yunus, the Chief Advisor to the interim government, to build a national consensus on reforms. The commission's activities began on February 15.
It was mentioned that among the reform commissions formed in the first phase, the Constitutional Reform Commission, the Public Administration Reform Commission, the Electoral System Reform Commission, the Judiciary Reform Commission and the Anti-Corruption Commission were requested to provide their specific opinions on the important recommendations mentioned in the Reform Commission's report by March 13, and the recommendations were sent to 38 political parties in the form of a spreadsheet. So far, the commission has received opinions from 15 political parties.
