European Union (EU) Ambassador to Bangladesh Michael Miller on Saturday met with Chattogram Hill Tracts (CHT) Affairs Adviser Supradip Chakma at Parbotto Chattogram Complex in Dhaka.
During the meeting, the Ambassador assured the EU's commitment to special cooperative investments in the CHT, focusing on livelihood development, water crisis resolution, environmental protection, topsoil conservation, ecotourism, and renewable energy.
Supradip expressed gratitude to the EU for its cooperation in Bangladesh's development.
The EU envoy expressed interest in investing in the solar energy and renewable energy sectors in Bangladesh.
CHT Affairs Secretary Md Abdul Khaleque and senior officials were present at the meeting.
