The Bangladesh Meteorological Department BMD forecasted rain in some parts of the country, including Dhaka, over the next 24 hours starting at 9:00am Tuesday, reports BSS.
“Rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind with lightning flashes are likely to occur at one or two places over Dhaka, Khulna, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions. Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country”, according to a BMD bulletin issued by Meteorologist A K M Nazmul Hoque.
The BMD also predicted that the daytime temperatures are likely to remain stable, with a slight drop in nighttime temperatures during this period.
On Monday, Dhaka recorded the highest temperature of 35.8 degree Celsius while Tetulia in Rangpur has seen the country's lowest temperature of 14.1 degree Celsius.
